With Drive Italy you can rent cars, vans and commercial vehicles on a short or long term basis. The range of vehicles available is wide and varied, capable of satisfying any type of need. Reservations can be made online, allowing you to save time and pick up the cars without waiting directly at the rental station.

The Drive Italy car fleet is divided into eight different groups, each suited to specific needs. All vehicles can be driven with a normal B licence, are equipped with air conditioning and car radio and there is the possibility of extending the options at a reasonable cost. All rates include: unlimited kilometres, taxes, third party liability insurance, CDW damage limitation cover, TP theft limitation cover. You can choose from the following vehicles:

SMALL (MXMR)
4-seater, 3-door hatchback.

Compact, fuel-efficient vehicles that are ideal for getting around without spending too much. Models: Fiat 500, Volkswagen UP or similar.

CITY CAR (MBMR)
Compact car with 4 seats and 5 doors. Ideal for getting around the city, finding parking easily and saving on fuel. Model: Fiat Panda, Citroen C1 or similar.

ECONOMY (EDMR)
5-seater saloons. Classic saloons for travelling in comfort and economy. Models: Fiat Punto, Peugeot 208, Ford Fiesta or similar.

COMPACT (CDMR)
Larger 5-seater saloons. Spacious saloons that add comfort to your journey. Models: Fiat 500L, Renault Scenic or similar.

SUV AND CROSSOVER (FXMR)
Perfect cars for travelling over all terrain. Comfortable and spacious cars. Models: Jeep Renegade, Peugeot 2008 or similar.

STATION WAGON (IWMR)
Higher-end cars, but offering plenty of comfort and space to travel comfortably. Models: Citroen C5, Opel Insigna or similar.

MPV 7PAX (SVMR)
MPV with seven seats. Models: Dacia Lodgy, Citroën Picasso or similar.

VAN 9PAX (LVMR)
Passenger vans with 9 seats. Models: Mercedes Vito, Citroën Jumpy or similar.

With each rental you can customise your experience by adding services and accessories to the rented vehicle. All options are available with daily rates or fixed prices, and include:

• Additional guidance
• Young guide
• Guide over 70
• Out-of-hours delivery
• Off-station delivery

From the Drive Italy website you can choose the car you want to rent and book it for the date you want. By booking online you can save time and collect your car as soon as you reach the Drive Italy station. Each reservation can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance.

The following insurance policies can be added to the rented vehicle:

• CDW limitation of liability (an insurance that allows you to have a maximum deductible for damage to your vehicle)
• TP Theft Liability Limitation (an insurance that allows you to have a maximum deductible for vehicle theft)
• Mini Cover Protection (MCP) – Reduces CDW deductible by 50%.
• Body Cover Protection (BCP) – Reduces the CDW deductible to €0, excluding Glass, Tyres and Underbody.
• Kasko Gold (KG) – Reduces the vehicle’s CDW and TP deductibles to €0.
